The team at environment4change believe our Platform as a Service, marketplace and ecosystem will become definitive of the future of co-operative, aggregated and global environmentalism representing the good-will of the planet for all living things. Today, as we sit and dream with great hopes for the recovery of our shared planet, it is hard to define what the ecosystem will become. Just to say, environment4change believe our Software as a Service, will be the intervening event that joins all together and affects a net positive outcome for planet Earth. In this regards the team are solely interested in creating a platform, marketplace and ecosystem, not for personal gain, but solely and uniquely for the betterment of the planet. Every effort, every activity and all development will be made in the execution of the purpose of building a functioning ecosystem seeing healthy internal platform interactions, economics, platform user-case growth and continued growing global participation in all activities, direct and indirect, ensuring a positive and improving health of planet Earth.
Internal Economies
Within the environment4change domain, success will be described by the growth of interactions, both within the domain and at the domain services boundary. Platform economics describe successful execution of this architecture as seeing growth, both in inflows and outflows, around the mechanism of supply and demand. This growth is illustrated and measured by a growing active community, user base, social channel support, community development and growing sophistication, participation and support of the projects spun-up within the ecosystem, and a widening global footprint of activity supported by the platform toolbox. Much thought and planning has been completed into ensuring access to the environment4change domain, at the external service boundary, is sensible, secure and seamless, ensuring a rich entrepreneurial spirit around a growing vertical user-case of new projects in favour of a growing ecosystem value that makes sense for the planet ensuring Mother Earth is the principle winner.
External Economies
It is around the boundary of the internal and external environment4change virtual border that great innovative services development can occur ensuring a high and growing transaction velocity from within the platform and ecosystem. Much of this development will be made by external sources who have a love for environmentalism and service development via software as a service. Universities around the World will be invited to participate in entrepreneurial endeavour, not for personal or business gain, but for the benefit of the planet and for ‘bragging rights’ over other Universities and institutions of advanced learning. It is the external domain and the space that connects the external to the internal ecosystem that much development is expected both horizontally, by environment4change and vertically by everyone who cares and loves our planet and wants to participate in its saving and rejuvenation.
Investment around supply and demand
The environment4change Team believe sound economics must support an ecosystem wanting to build value, for the benefit of the planet, but understanding the growing value of entrepreneurial endeavour will be judged by the market in terms of traditional value models. Noting this, the environment4change team have identified a strategy of enabling and empowering strong transaction and interaction velocity and demand by understanding some external capacity or competency may be necessary to further strengthen the global demand for the business and what it stands for. This understanding is accounted for via a strategy of collaboration, co-operation, partnership and if necessary, acquisition.
